DC Hydro Energy Production Co., was founded in May 2008 in Istanbul to realize the Doğanlı-Çukurca Dam and HES Projects. Company's partners are Omv Power International Gmbh, Göçay Construction Contracting and Trade Co., Özdemir Construction Tourism Energy Industry and  Tradeing Co., Va Tech Hydro Gmbh., Alstom Hydro Austria Gmbh., Voith Siemens Hydro Power Generation Gmbh and Co. Kg, Pöyry Energy Gmbh., Dolsar Engineering Ltd.

The project design, construction and electromechanical equipment works and electricicy production for the Doğanlı and Çukurca Dams located in the Zap Waters sub-basin of the Tigris River shall be realized, with a total installed power of 623 MW and an annual average energy production of 2082 Gwh (2.082.000.000 KWh).
